Jill Zeidler Ceramic Art

My work is an exploration into bringing form and color together to create a sculptural integrity that is interpretational and allows the viewer to expand on the limits of its intention.   

By allowing the clay to be transformed through the process of hand building, each piece takes on a subtle sense of character and looseness. 

The delicate color palette of glaze, combined with the collaging of familiar objects, work together to unveil a decorative theme throughout each piece.

The images are chosen through a sincere fondness for nature whether it be animal or plant life and I find the vintage text to hold an intimate as well as a mysterious quality that I am drawn to.

Some of the most popular uses for my work are as wedding gifts, birthdays and holidays.
