Lisa Gilley was born and raised in the Skagit Valley farmlands in Washington state and currently resides on her farm on Marrowstone Island on the Olympic Peninsula. Heavily influenced by her environment and inspired by the work of many Northwest artists and early American Modernist artists her paintings are an attempt to capture a timeless narrative of the Northwest landscape. Lisa’s work has appeared in gallery and museum exhibitions throughout the Northwest and is held in private collections throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Her work is represented by Woodside Braseth Gallery in Seattle Washington.
