ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS
C. K. Boyd ArtLocation: Medina, TXPrimary Medium: Digital PaintingProfile
Carole pursues the art of
digital painting using only a mouse as a brush and starting with a blank
computer screen, a mouse and a palette of colors. Her paintings are original digital art and
NOT altered or manipulated photographs.
They span categories from Surrealism to Realism, Impressionism to
Illustrations, and even fine line drawings.
Carole’s predominant style is to paint in a realistic
manner the subject upon which she wants the viewer to focus, and to paint the
rest of the painting in a more impressionistic style. Carole feels that in this way the viewer’s
eye is not distracted from the desired focus, and the viewer can fill in the
other details with his or her imagination.
It is her desire to advance the art of digital
painting into the category of fine art, and she hopes to provide collectors and
appreciators of art with a new and exciting art form. All of her paintings are printed as giclees
on canvas, signed, titled and numbered 1 of 1.
She may also print lithographs in very limited editions, but there is
only one signed original on canvas of each painting so that the collector has a
unique and more valuable painting. Her works have appeared in galleries and private collections throughout the Southwest.
