Jacquelyn Bischak received a Bachelor of Fine Art in 1987 with concentrations in Life Drawing and Painting. Although she considers herself a lifelong artist, she worked professionally as an Art Director of Photography and Illustrator for 15 years and privately as a painter. Her methods and training are based in traditional and classical realism. After a severe automobile accident in 2000, Bischak retired from advertising to focused on painting full time. She began showing her figurative paintings professionally in 2007 at the OPA 17th National Juried Exhibition, where she was solicited by the Legacy Gallery and featured in her introductory opening with Jeff Legg and Daniel Gerhartz.
Bischak received the 2010 "Dorothy Driehaus Award" for Midwestern Artist. She has won BoldBrush and Raymar National Juried Competition Awards from jurors and master painter's Nancy Guzik, Jeremy Lipking and others.

Jacquelyn has participated in many group shows and invitational exhibitions including the Great American Figurative Artist Exhibition, held annually at the Waterhouse Gallery in Santa Barbara, CA. Her work is in private and corporate collections, domestically and world-wide. She has an ongoing list of juried exhibitions, honors, gallery and museum exhibitions.
