Specializing in Landscape Oils, Steve is a native of South Dakota, having grown up in the historic gold mining town of Lead.  He has two grown children, Eric and Carmen.  Steve has worked at many intriging careers -  gold miner, truck driver, misician, draftsman, illustrator and computer digitizer but has always returned to art.  

His style is self-taught and has developed over many years, with strong use of palette knife for the majority of each painting.  This style is more impressionistic.
