ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS Artists Gallery of Steamboat ProfileThe artists, all from the Yampa Valley area, are nationally and internationally known. The gallery caters to a wide variety of tastes, interests and budgets: two dimensional works such as oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, photographs, fabric and mono-prints, as well as three-dimensional works such as ceramics, jewelry, fused glass and mineral and bronze sculptures. The works created are both traditional and contemporary. The natural beauty of the valley and the rich western ranching background are reflected in the work of the plein air painters as well as the contemporary artists.
The Artists’ Gallery of Steamboat is located at 1009 Lincoln Avenue and is open seven days a week. The gallery is staffed and managed exclusively by the artists. In the 1,200 foot back room artists are often working on special projects or conducting classes. The Artists' Gallery of Steamboat has become an artistic center in Steamboat Springs.
